Summer School of Dialogue,
Peace, and Conflict Resolution

Once a year we organize the “Summer School of Dialogue, Peace, and Conflict Resolution”

In the summer of 2004 we organized a month-long seminar on peace, conflict resolution, and inter-ethnic dialogue with a group of 8 American students and 8 students from Mostar where through manual labour (restoration of the Karadjozbeg Mosque in Mostar) we tried to overcome differences and learn to work as a team.

Graditelji Mira again teamed up in the summer of 2005 with Builders for Peace and worked with a group of 6 Americans to develop a Student Information Center that will serve both universities in Mostar (Dzemal Bijedic and Sveuciliste u Mostaru). This project is specifically designed to bring together not only the participants but also serve as a catalyst for unity and reconciliation among university students in Mostar and Mostar society in general.
