Tko smo mi

Graditelji Mira is a youth-led Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Mostar , Bosnia - Herzegovina . We are comprised of students from the University of Mostar and Dzemal Bijedic University .

The NGO began in the summer of 2004, when local students from Mostar collaborated on a Builders for Peace project with university-aged volunteers from the United States organized by the American association Builders For Peace.

The University of Mostar and Dzemal Bijedic University students created Graditelji Mira so that they could continue their community development efforts year-round.

Graditelji Mira and Builders for Peace (USA) maintain a relationship as friendship organizations. They continue to work in unison on summer youth initiatives in Mostar.

Target Groups:

University and high school students.

Organizational Structure:

The head of office is in Mostar with a field office in Sarajevo.

The Builders of Peace has a flat structure with six founders as working members in the Mostar headquarter along with two associates in the Sarajevo field office.

A key element of our organizations structure is our Volunteer Resource Centre (VRC).
